Big news coming your way – we’re going global! And if that wasn’t exciting enough, we’re also diving into the world of IFR/Commercial flight support. Can you believe it? None of this would have been possible without the incredible support and hard work from our amazing community. Thanks to you, we’ve got our hands on the essential data we needed, all neat and tidy. This is a huge step forward for us and means we can get started on these new features asap. So, get ready for an adventure – it’s going to be one heck of a journey!
Brace yourselves, because it’s not all going to be smooth sailing. The next 1-2 months might feel a bit like we’re flying through a storm as we work out the kinks. Remember the early days with VFR and USA support? It’s going to be a bit like that again. We’re counting on your help to test, to break things (only so we can fix them!), and to tell us what’s not working. Your feedback has been a game-changer for us, and we need your sharp insights and keen observations now more than ever. Ready to dive in?
To start, we have SimBrief integration - Available in the Client menu. Simply enter your SimBrief username, file a flight plan with SimBrief, and then call ATC requesting to open it. The ATC will query and use your flight plan.
SID, STARS, and other approaches/departures will be broken to start, but fixed as we enter the data and make corrections to vectoring. This may take a while, but will be worth the effort.
