Official Release of The Maddog MD-82 with SayIntentions ACARS support

Maddog has released released their highly anticipated update supporting SayIntentions CPDLC. We congratulate them being the first third party aircraft creator to officially support our ACARS data network!

Tech Support

One thing to point out, if you need support with PDC and CPDLC messages with this aircraft please visit the MaddogX forums to seek assistance. https://www.flythemaddog.com/forum/index.php.

We can only give support on questions regarding PCD and CPDLC in relation to SayIntentions and your account.

OTHER FIXES LISTED BELOW:

AI ATC Updates:

General Fixes

Taxi Assist: We've updated our design for taxi assist. Now you can choose your default options via the pilot portal settings.

You can select between 'On Request' (i.e. You requested *progressive* taxi) and 'Always'

You can select between 'Arrows' and the new 'Lights', or for a bit of RGB fun 'Disco'

You can select between 7 colours for either arrows or lights: Red, Green, Blue, Cyan, Orange, Yellow, Pink

These can also be requested via voice at will, e.g. "Request progressive taxi with yellow lights"

In order to ensure full compatibility, please make a point of opening SayIntentions BEFORE you launch MSFS and give it a few seconds to perform the update in the background. This only needs to be done once, and you can launch the SI client after the simulator subsequently if you want.

ATC Updates

  • Arrivals: Hopefully bug is fixed where you could get cleared for your approach twice.

  • Taxi Instructions: When controllers give a long set of taxi instructions, they will now slow down a bit. (Speed won't change if it's shorter).

  • IFR Arrivals: Vectoring corrections should now be a thing, to assist when wind or "time to vector" is causing airplanes to be off course, leading to "forgotten vectoring".

  • Swapped out a couple of Voices that were no longer available in the Mexico and Brazil areas
