From splitting cabin announcements across different audio devices to a new, AI-powered approach to routing shortcuts and expanded European voice packs - here’s a closer look at our latest progress.

1. New AI SID/STAR Shortcut System

Our first big reveal: dynamic SID/STAR shortcuts are now fully deployed. We’ve integrated advanced AI models beyond just large language models to mimic real-world procedure nuances - like local noise abatement, terrain considerations, and peak-traffic constraints.

• Why It Matters: Instead of rigid, math-based flight paths, our system analyzes real-world data to know when ATC would actually give you a shortcut, vector, or even slip you into a hold for operational reasons. You’ll experience flights as unpredictably (and authentically) as a real pilot would.
• Key Highlights:
  • Adaptive Shortcuts: AI decides on-the-fly where you can safely shorten or extend your route.
  • Realistic Holds: Simulates operational or logistical hiccups—perfect for those “maintenance issues” we all love to hate in real aviation.
  • Better Vectoring: No simple angle calculations; actual procedures and local airspace knowledge guide vector commands.

Essentially, we’re modeling authentic air traffic control behavior so you can enjoy a flight environment that feels as close to the real thing as possible - making every departure or arrival a unique experience.

2. Dual-Speaker Cabin Crew Support

Version 2.7.5.2 is here - and with it, an immersive cabin-crew experience you’ve been clamoring for. Now, you can route crew announcements intended for you onto one audio device while sending passenger announcements to a separate audio output.

• What It Means for You: Crisp, clear communication for the pilot, and dedicated announcements on external speakers for your virtual passengers. The ultimate realism boost!
• How to Get It: Your app will update automatically within 24 hours, next open of the client, or you can download the installer right now to jump straight in.

3. Enhanced European Voice Packs

We’re also thrilled to announce major improvements to our EU voice offerings:

• Expanded Variety: Around 50 new voices per region, starting with Poland, the UK, Germany, and France, and soon rolling out to Switzerland and the Netherlands.
• AI Voice Cloning: With help from ElevenLabs and our own enhancements, these voices now sound more natural and regionally authentic than ever. This enhancement is fueled by the latest AI voice cloning breakthroughs from ElevenLabs, in tandem with our own audio processing capabilities.
• FSWeekend 2025 Lelystad Prep: We’re especially focused on the Netherlands so we can showcase the best local accents at FSWeekend 2025.

We have significant expansions planned for Switzerland and the Netherlands, perfectly timed for FSWeekend 2025 in Lelystad. Expect to hear even more realistic, localized voices as we continue to integrate new accents and languages—bringing your ATC interactions one step closer to real-world immersion.
